She is turning 2 this November but her fat fat stomach does not look like. Dont you find some similarity between me and her? lolx. We like to act cute in front of cameras!

I got great news to share with everyone here....
Today I went to buy pregnancy test kit. Nah... Not for me.. Its for my colleague! She tested positive! I was practically jumping and down upon hearing the news. Its double happiness especially after PM Lee announced 4 months maternity leave on last night's National Day rally telecast.
At the lecture, my lecturer was promoting SDU. She asked us to go for SDU after we have graduated and not just plain working through our damn whole life. She is single btw.

Just had my nap on this wet Monday evening. My parents are watching PM Lee's National Day Rally while trying to spot my mum's eldest brother among the audience. My brother is now in Sungei Gedong Camp feeding mosquitoes, hopefully he already bought the insect repellent patch. I was at his unit for a COC recee, since he doesn't want any food (I had a big plastic bag of biscuit, canned food and other lotas food from the 7th month celebration), I left him...

These few days I have been catching a Taiwanese drama serial - Fated to Love You. But the show is not complete yet. Shitos. I hate to watch show which is not completely uploaded. Thats the trouble watching online. And thats the reason I have not been blogging religiously.
Finally I made my way to Orchard today with Aishah. Two of us, the hungry ghosts headed to town without placing any food in our stomach. And there, at LV, the queue is pretty long. My kind Aishah help me to queue while I went to Chanel. I thought my Chanel's closure was damaged. Thanks goodness, it is just a hallmark. Well, since I was in the shop, I made enquiries about any Classic Flap in red. Red is nice colour for Chanel flap bag. Too bad, I'm on a bag ban.
Then I quickly rush my way to the shop opposite - LV where Aishah was queuing for me. Thanks goodness, I made it in time. I have to change the speedy's handle. It is a special bag for me, even though many are carrying it everywhere. The damage - $168 and 4 to 6 weeks. I wanted to change the zipper of pochette accessories. But was advised not to. Forget it then.

I burnt my favourite blouse this afternoon! I was on the verge of crying. Then, the thoughts of able to get the blouse from the internet just strike upon me. Maybe I can get it from the e source. The best thing is that Lionel said he will buy for me if I found the blouse. Its not that I can't buy it. Its the thoughts of him being responsible for my feeling that touches me.
Ok, put him aside. I went to NDP (National Day Parade, in case some dumbos do not know) with Adnan, Aishah and Eliz. Eliz slimmed down lotas. And when 'interviewed' by us. She said its because of my words, that she managed to slim down. I cant believe I am such an influencer.
Well, the three of them were sick. Not mentally though. So dragging those three patients to NDP after the lunch at Pizza Hut is not something tough. I managed to cut queue (as usual). Aishah was laughing at that guy who was standing at the back of queue with that stunned stupid look when he saw me cutting the queue. Well, its not really cutting queue, just that those bunch of idiots just stand there, not moving their arses. I just motivate them to move abit faster.
We were seated after climbing so many flights of stairs. I am so used to just walk to the floating platform via the first floor entrance. We quickly changed our seats as the seats were too far from the stage. As usual, we cut queue for our visual satisfaction.
Soon, it started to drizzled. Its the first year I wore the rain coat for NDP. It was so hot without ventilation. They ought to come up with better rain coat that can shield people from rain and suit the local humidity level. The crowd of this year is not that hyperactive and enthusiastic as previous years. This year, people are so quiet even when the MPs arrived. It was strange and uncommon situation. It got better when the SM, MM, PM and President arrived. Just a lil' better.
The parade carried out as usual and those men in uniform were still as smart as usual. When the black knights dashed through the clouds like they own the sky, Eliz admiring them and said 'Wah, how nice it would be if my bf is a pilot...' then she turned to me and said, 'Isn't your bf a pilot?' I was duh. That was history. Currently, my bf is standing on ground fighting against the enemy, not like those nothing on earth (slogan of RSAF).
Adnan's fever is getting from bad to worse, he was almost like a drunken walking around. Hope he has a speedy recovery over the long weekend.
Some photos from the NDP. Sorry for the blur images, blamed it on the low 5MP camera phone of mine.

See you next year!

Its the Friday! And its worth mention as its the Friday of the year 2008 that I do not have to care about sleeping late as tomorrow its the Public Holiday!
Happy Birthday, Singapore.
Well, like the usual preceding years, I have been attending the National Day Parade. When I was younger, my intention was oogling those wearing smart uniform, standing straight in the parade, watching the oh-so-fantastic stunts by the Red Lions (despite the fact that they are ah peks when they unveil the helmet. Now, its the day when I can gather with my besties to celebrate our Nation's birthday. Who cares which handsome young dude is standing there. They look the same anyway.

Well, today is the opening ceremony of the Olympic. Its going to flag off at 8:08pm on this significant day - 08 August 2008 which is also 080808. It is also the day for those wishing and hoping of striking $8Million Toto draw. My dad called me to buy toto on behalf of him this afternoon when I was at Changi Village. When I asked him 'What number you wanna buy?' He replied me with this answer which I thought only I can think of 'The number that will be on 1st prize tonight.'
Now I understand why so many people puke blood while communicating with me.

National Day Parade is around the corner and on the next Saturday, I will be heading to the floating platform with Aishah, Adnan and Eliz. This year is the 11th year that my current company, Tiong Hwa Steel Structures had sponsored for the annual national event. Of course, you think its . This year I got a bad experience dealing with the marketing director of NDP 08. He got on my nerve and even stripped off our company's logo from the goodies bags. He claimed that my company is benefiting from the event. Cmon, we are a long time principal sponsor for this honourable event and thats the thing I heard from him. If we are benefiting, why should we sponsor for the event? We might as well charge everything to the NDP committee right? And next thing I know is that the NDP committee does not have a proper design team. Or I should say, they did not have a design team at all. I had to design the advertisement on the commemorative magazine as well as on the 8 Days magazine. It was totally wasting my time doing it, unlike the past few years where they have a design team to do up the design. The bad thing is not that I have to design, its that this marketing director who is a Guards' Major is dumb enough to ask me to send him a higher res. I told him to solve the problem himself, by sending those necessary higher res photos. Thats it. They have someone who is not capable to lead the marketing team. I seriously think that they have to do something to this marketing director. They should not depend on such person who have no idea what marketing is all about, let alone service standard that sponsors should receive.
After my lesson on the Saturday afternoon, I headed to City Hall area for dinner with WK who was to be at NDP and I got Goo to join. While meeting Goo at Suntec Convention Hall, WK and I bumped into the ceremony. Its to keep the colour flags. Astonished by the solemn atmosphere which the whole lobby was filled in. Everyone was so quiet. Real silence. Then WK brought me to a good view to take the photos. Sorry for the quality of a 5MP phone camera. I took the photos while munching on an Anderson's ice cream on another hand. I was so worried the Coffee Almond ice cream would drop onto the peak cap...

I woke up as early as 9 on the Sunday morning, I decided to rot my day away since its the only day of the week I can bored at home. Sunday is the day where one can just simply lying down on a soft, comfortable couch and read a book, drinking a glass of sweet plus a little bitter iced lemon tea.
Today, I am going to read through my Ethics and Governance assignment on the ethical issues found in an unethical Casino and recommended some implementations for a smooth operation in their future business. So, while reading through what my group mates have did, I just cant help it but to surf the other irrelevant websites like purse forum, flowerpod forum as well as the Chanel website. I found something. For god's sake, I have to share this drop dead necklace from Chanel with everyone.
The price is heaven too - USD$2125. Do your own conversion. So basically buying a Chanel flap will be more worthwhile. Even though the pearls and little charms are calling me.
